Akshayakalpa Farms and Foods Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian company known for their production of organic milk and high-quality dairy products. It is India’s first certified organic dairy company, and the production model is based on sustainability, traceability and animal welfare, making it a benchmark within the country’s dairy industry. The company’s commitment to innovation and manufacturing excellence drives it to continually improve their facilities with reliable, safe and hygienic technology.

With their business growing rapidly, Akshayakalpa needed to expand their production capacity. The company was looking for a plant capable of integrating all dairy processes – from reception of milk to processing into pasteurised drinking milk, curd (yoghurt), cream, butter, ghee and paneer – using an efficient and fully monitored procedure.
They also required an automated system to improve traceability, minimise the risk of human error and ensure consistent operations, scalable for future production growth.
A key requirement was to work with a single supplier capable of taking responsibility for the entire project and delivering a complete turnkey solution.
“Installing INOXPA systems ensures completely reliable, monitored dairy production at every stage of the process.”
“Installing INOXPA systems ensures completely reliable, monitored dairy production at every stage of the process.”
Akshayakalpa chose to partner with INOXPA due to our strong expertise in turnkey solutions for the dairy sector and our ability to provide design, manufacturing, integration and commissioning services all from a single source.
They particularly valued the reliability of our hygienic skids, and our ability to integrate instrumentation, automation, centralised CIP and ancillary services into an easy-to-operate installation.
INOXPA’s support throughout the entire project lifecycle - from initial design to FAT, SAT, and training - was also a key factor, along with the flexibility of our solutions to adapt to the client’s future growth.
The project integrates the initial reception of milk, its cooling, storage, pasteurisation, processing into various products, packaging and CIP cleaning into a single system.
The solution is underpinned by a hygienic reception and preparation system, in which the milk is deaerated, filtered, weighed and cooled using plate heat exchangers to ensure proper treatment right from the source.
The milk is then stored in insulated double-wall silos equipped with agitators. It is then sent to the processing stage, which incorporates highly efficient systems for milk standardization and pasteurization, cream pasteurization, and the production of butter, curd (yogurt), ghee and paneer cheese.
The necessary equipment and instrumentation for the automation and monitoring of the various processes during both the production and cleaning phases are also included.
The cleaning and hygienic maintenance of the entire plant is guaranteed by a fully automated two-line CIP system, enabling efficient cleaning and reduced downtime.
The implemented solution enabled Akshayakalpa to open the new production facility, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and ensuring consistent quality across all its products.
The fully automated system enables precise control of every stage of the process, reducing the need for manual intervention and improving traceability and operational safety.
In addition, the integration of energy-efficient systems helps to reduce energy consumption and optimise operating costs.
