Rock Brewery is an Italian company that specialises in the production of craft beer. Based in the south of Italy (Sicily), the company produces top-fermented and bottom-fermented beers, combining traditional methods with modern technologies to ensure high-quality products. Their approach centres on innovation, efficiency and adherence to brewing industry standards, enabling them to position themselves as a benchmark in the local market, while steadily expanding their international presence.

In the light of growing demand for their beers, Rock Brewery decided to expand its 500-litre plant to a 1200-litre plant, double batch per day.
The company needed to significantly increase their production capacity and, at the same time, to incorporate automated processes that would ensure greater efficiency, quality and product consistency.
They also needed a solution that would enable them to brew both top-fermented and bottom-fermented beers, with a flexible system prepared for future growth.
“The new facility has allowed us to optimise recipes, efficiency and space, while increasing production times and focusing on key aspects of growing our business.”
“The new facility has allowed us to optimise recipes, efficiency and space, while increasing production times and focusing on key aspects of growing our business.”
Rock Brewery chose INOXPA's solution for our ability to deliver a brewing facility fully tailored to their needs.
The proposal included a brewing system with a double heated tank, advanced PLC automation, integration of a CIP system and compliance with Industry 4.0 standards.
INOXPA also offered local technical support, custom hygienic design and a modular system enabling the scaling up of production in the future.
All of these factors, along with energy and space optimisation, made INOXPA's proposal stand out against other market options.
The plant comprised a brew house with 2 heated tanks (12 Hl per batch), one for mashing and lautering and the other for brewing and whirlpool.
This brew house, equipped with an electrical panel with PLC for automatic recipe management, can perform a full cycle (mashing, lautering, brewing and agitation) in approximately 6 hours. It can also produce a double batch in 8 hours and a triple batch with extended shifts.
